Taylor Hanson Haley is a partner in the firm's Litigation and Governmental Practice Groups. Ms. Haley also works on real estate development projects.  Prior to joining the firm, she clerked for the Honorable C. Ashley Royal in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia.  She is a licensed Georgia attorney and is admitted to practice in all courts in the State of Georgia. Ms. Haley is also admitted to practice before the federal district courts in the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts as well as the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.  She currently serves as the Glynn County Bar Association Treasurer, having also served as the Law Day director in 2009.
Ms. Haley earned her Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law, where she served on the Editorial Board of the University of Georgia Law Review. Â She wrote a note entitled, "Psst! Janie's Got a Gun: Anonymous Tips and Search and Seizure Rights in Schools," which was published in the journal in fall 2002. Â Ms. Haley also assisted in writing an article published in Family Law Quarterly. Â Additionally, as a law student, she served in the Family Violence Legal Clinic and Diakonia, a Christian-based legal services clinic for indigent clients. Â Ms. Haley was active in the Christian Legal Society and served as the student representative on the Faculty Recruitment Committee.
Ms. Haley received her Bachelor's degree, summa cum laude, from Samford University in Birmingham. She majored in journalism and mass communications.
Ms. Haley is married to Reese Haley, and they are members of First Baptist Church of Brunswick. Â Ms. Haley serves on The Gathering Place Board of Directors, American Cancer Society Victory Board, Hospice Auxiliary, and also volunteers her time with CareNet and other community organizations. Â She grew up on St. Simons Island and graduated as valedictorian from Glynn Academy in 1996.
