Ben Hartman is a partner in the firm's Trusts and Estates and Formal Corporate Practice Groups. Ben works with families in developing and implementing estate plans that are crafted based on specific tax and family dynamic issues.  He counsels corporate and individual fiduciaries on trust and estate administration matters, and also represents local industries, a housing authority, physician practice groups, and non-profit organizations.

Ben is licensed to practice in Georgia and is a Fellow with the Lawyers Foundation of Georgia.  He is active in the Fiduciary Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia and has been a lecturer at institutes sponsored by the State Bar.  Ben is a Past President of the Brunswick-Glynn County Bar Association.

Ben graduated from Furman University with a Bachelor of Arts in History.  He is a cum laude graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law.  During his time in Athens, Ben was selected to be a member of the Gridiron Secret Society.  

Ben is an elder at St. Simons Presbyterian Church and is on the Board of the College of Coastal Georgia Foundation.  Ben is a board member of CMAP and the Kate - Helen and Ray Whittle Foundation. He is a graduate of Leadership Glynn and is participating in Leadership Georgia.  Mr. Hartman is married to Leslie Hartman and they have three children: Hill, Curry, and Spence.
