Abney H. Whitehead is a member of the firm's Litigation Practice Group.  Ms. Whitehead has a general litigation practice with a focus on workers' compensation and corporate litigation.  Previously, she practiced in the Health Litigation Group at the firm of Butler Snow in Memphis.  Ms. Whitehead is licensed to practice law in Georgia and Tennessee.  She is a member of the Family Law and Workers' Compensation Sections of the State Bar of Georgia.

Ms. Whitehead earned her Juris Doctorate from the Tulane University School of Law, where she served as Managing Editor of the Tulane Law Review.  She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Ms. Whitehead was born and raised in Estill, South Carolina.  She is married to David C. Whitehead, M.D., and they have two daughters.
