Emory L. Larkin is an associate with the firm where she primarily practices within the real estate and corporate practice groups.
Emory graduated in the top five percent of her class, magna cum laude, from Mercer University School of Law after receiving her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia in finance. During Emory’s time at Mercer Law, she gained significant writing, editing, and oral advocacy experience while serving on the Mercer Law Review, Federal Bar Association Moot Court Team, and clerking with Presiding Judge Dillard of the Court of Appeals of Georgia. She received the honor of being published two years in a row while on Law Review and received the highest academic average in six classes as well as a faculty award throughout her time at Mercer Law.
After graduating law school, Emory joined Gilbert Harrell where she helps with the purchase and sale of corporations, handles closings of residential and commercial real estate properties, assists the trust and estate department as needed, and works generally on matters relating to municipal and non-profit organizations.
Ms. Larkin grew up in the area and went to high school at Frederica Academy on Saint Simons Island. After graduating law school, she was excited to get back to coastal Georgia to begin her career.
