Wimberly Lewis

Wimberly Lewis is an associate with the firm where she practices in the firm’s trust and estates practice group.

Wimberly received her Juris Doctorate from Mercer University School of Law after receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies and Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies from South University. During her time at Mercer Law, Wimberly received a Certificate in Advanced Legal Writing, Research, and Drafting. While in the certificate program, she completed an advanced research course, an advanced drafting course, a seminar, two semesters in an Advanced Writing Group, and prepared a comprehensive writing portfolio, as well as passed a grammar and style competency exam.

During her time at South University and Mercer Law, she worked as a paralegal at an estate planning law firm in Savannah, Georgia.

After graduating law school, Wimberly joined the firm’s trust and estates practice group where she helps with all aspects of estate and trust planning for families and individuals of all backgrounds and resources, including tax planning for high net worth individuals, family businesses, and those facing incapacity.

Wimberly grew up in Darien and went to high school at McIntosh County Academy. She always knew she would return to coastal Georgia to begin her legal career. She is married to Joshua Lewis, they have one daughter, Adrianna, and their second daughter, Emma, is due in December.
