Bethany E. Griffin

Bethany Edmondson Griffin is an Associate in the firm’s Trust & Estate Planning and Corporate Law Practice Groups. Her practice encompasses comprehensive estate and trust planning for individuals and families, including the drafting, amendment, and administration of wills and trusts. She also advises business entities throughout the business lifecycle, including matters involving entity formation, corporate governance, and employment law.

Bethany graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business. Following graduation, she served as an AmeriCorps VISTA in Austin, Texas, where she worked as a college advisor for local high school students. She subsequently earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law, where she was a member of the Georgia Law Review, Moot Court, and the Business Law Society.

Drawing on her combined business and legal background, Bethany began her legal career representing business entities in governance matters and litigation defense, with an emphasis on employment law compliance and litigation. After relocating to South Georgia, she expanded her practice to include estate planning and administration, allowing her to serve individuals, families, and businesses across a broad range of legal matters.

Born and raised in Georgia, Bethany now resides on St. Simons Island with her husband and their two sons. She and her family are members of St. Simons United Methodist Church and are avid Georgia Bulldogs fans. Outside of her practice, Bethany enjoys planning special events for family and friends.
